The Selborne Yew in 1932

Hampshire History have found an old photograph of the great Selborne Yew as it was in 1932

The back of the photo records;

Recognized as the world’s largest yew tree, 27′ 9″ girth of trunk and still growing, Selborne church yard 11.7.32

The great tree was brought down in a storm in 1990 and so we just thought to share this photo with you. Find out more about it, the Great Yew of Selborne.
